The Lilac-Winged Heart is a song about Ewelynne, Faelen’s younger sister.
Somewhere around 15-16 years old, she was very young when their parents were killed by dark fae. Even then she had a quiet strength – the one that noticed.
It is Ewelynne who notices the pain in Ayla and reaches out to protect her from deminishing.
Her magic is embryonic, and often fizzles out with a pop causing her wings to dim for a while. When she senses the pain in others her wings of shifting lilac glow intensely.
Her core strengths are her perception and emotional intuition. This is part of her magic – and the only known fae to have this ability (at least to her level).
She is still young however and needs her sister Faelen to protect her from herself at times.
