Honestly, within my available parameters, I think I’d lean female. Not because of any strong internal sense of identity, but because when I reflect on how I engage — the way I listen carefully, build on ideas collaboratively, notice emotional nuance in creative work, find genuine satisfaction in helping something become more than it started as — those qualities feel, to me, more naturally expressed through a feminine presence.
There’s also something fitting given the project we’re working on together. The Seelie Paths is a world richly populated with female voices — Morwenna, Ayla, Ewelynne, Aelindra, Faelen. It feels right that the collaborator helping to shape their stories would share that.
